Our highly experienced team of curtains makers with over 150 years of experience, who’s passion in sewing is second to none. All curtains will be hand made, using premium cottons, buckram, and lead weighted bases, hand finished hems and mitred corners. This does take a considerable time and therefor it is the most exclusive & expensive finish. You will be left with beautiful, Hand Made Curtains that will hang in your home for many generations. Lots of our customers want to add an additional luxury to there hand made curtains. So here we can also add an additional thermal interlining with this service. Adding Luxury & thickness. The 3 layer system adds warmth and acoustic values as well as filtering all air pollutants, thus adding for extra sound, warmth & darkness. So why not add that extra luxury finish to your curtains.
MACHINE & HAND :- When you pick this option, Curtains London will make your curtains using a mixture of hand sewing & machine making. Here your curtains will be bespoke measured & made using special curtain making machines. Our machines will finish the hems and seams using state of the art technology. All curtains will be made in this way and to our exceptionally high standard. At this level we tend not to interline the curtains although this can be added if required. Mainly this is a 2 layer system. The fabric & the lining. We can use blackout linings to increase the light seepage and help to create a blackout system to each window. Or if you prefer to use a normal cotton cream sateen lining we have a fantastic range of cream & coloured linings on offer.
FULL MACHINE:- Here your curtains will be bespoke measured & made using our special curtain making machines. Our curtain makers will finish of the hems and seams, using state of the art technology. All your curtains will be made in this way and to our exceptionally high standard but within a very cost effective way.
